| Abstract | The likelihood of a project's success has significantly increased since project risk management became a standardized concept. This is referred to as an action plan since it includes several phases and ensures risk reduction using strategies and instruments. Every organization and corporation is susceptible to unforeseen risks or negative situations that might damage the firm's finances or force a permanent shutdown. Risk management is the only method to stay safe and overcome obstacles in this situation. The success of projects is influenced by risk management, which makes sure that possible hazards may be found, reduced, and handled within the allotted time limit. The significance of risk management in project management will be demonstrated in the report. It emphasizes a useful technique for spotting hazards early on that also lowers the price of rework. It demonstrates how the Department of Rural Roads manages and controls risks during the project execution phase. It also illustrates the system's strengths, weaknesses, and suggestions for improvement. To meet the world standard, there are still a number of standards and areas that need to be strengthened in developing nations. This study will be very helpful in analyzing present procedures and disseminating information for future use. |
