| Abstract | Project management is the control of resources over the course of a project using a range of tools and techniques to manage variables including scope, cost, time, quality, and so on. Implementation management often includes a broader range of restrictions that are specific to the design and construction of construction projects. During the course of a project, construction project management may interact with a wide range of disciplines, including architecture, engineering, public works, and city planning. The management procedure known as "business continuity management" (BCM) is in charge of supervising and putting solutions in place to cope with the risk of unanticipated interruptions. These tactics include business continuity planning (BCP), risk management, planning, training, testing, and improvements. In every organization, business continuity management plays a very important role. Establishing, implementing, and continually improving business continuity management procedures will be necessary for a company to continue its operations in the event of disruptions In this report, it is prepared for the adopting of business continuity management in road project of the Department of Rural Road. It discusses how the department manages the emergency situations and crisis as an emergency management .It also presents the practices the road operation and maintenance process. Additionally, it also describes difficulties and challenges implementing business continuity management in the Department of Rural Road. In Myanmar, as one of the developing countries in the world, there are many challenges and obstacles to implement the project management system effectively. The budget is very limited for recovery and emergency management which are the key process of business continuity management. |
