| Abstract | This study is about road construction in the mountainous region, regarding the machinery to be used when performing road work in areas with poor topography, it is clearly stated how to prevent accidents during the work. Accidents may occur in all construction not only in the country of Myanmar, but also in much country of construction projects because of lack of following-up occupational safety. If the equipment is used in the construction of the country's infrastructure, the amount of money invested is too large, according to the size of the work range. In addition, the different type of machinery used in the different construction of infrastructure such as roads, bridges, buildings, dams, airstrips, and electric power works, accidents are occasionally happened. The accident causation is not because working in mountainous areas but because in flat areas when machinery is used due to people's negligence and incompetence. As in this study, the types of machinery that should be used in road construction work which is a requirement for the development of a country and then how these equipment should be managed to prevent accidents at work and expressed that the roles of maintenance engineers, operators and mechanics who supervise and handle the main machinery in the work place are vital and the guidelines established by the department will be presented. In addition, successful work operations cannot be achieved only by knowing how to properly manage the heavy equipment used to execute in construction work. It is also important to be able to perform the main occupational safety. Therefore, I would like to report that the ability to manage the safety of heavy equipment used in road construction works is a way to prevent the loss of human life and property of the country. |
