| Abstract | As a developing nation, Myanmar's infrastructure and road system remain poor when compared to its surrounding nations and the ASEAN road standard. MOC implements the PPP system and encourages PPP and BOT Company for cooperation in order to keep up with the standard in good quality, safe transportation, and other pertinent elements. Even though, according to international standards, BOT Company used to operate the project entirely under their operational system or method, the projects in Myanmar are nevertheless actively watched and managed by MOC. In this case study, MOC takes the initiative to oversee project activities like determining the road's alignment, creating the road design, and setting up a QA/QC team to check the construction method that must be used in accordance with the design and closely related previous projects that will face the construction stage, with the solutions to these being properly recorded and summarized for future use, controlling quality and monitoring project progress in the next project. Additionally, the risks and challenges that these concerns raise are recognized at an early stage and presented as suggestions for future projects. It is therefore sincerely expected that this proposed document will assist the BOT Company in managing new projects effectively and efficiently once all the prior experiences have been taken into account. MOC's rigorous supervision will make it easier to prevent the recurrence of problems and dangers from earlier initiatives. These factors will make BOT Company enthusiastic in taking part in MOC Road Projects and the sector of infrastructure development in Myanmar would experience significant expansion. |
