AbstractThe traditional tendering system is being used in Myanmar for about one decade. Although this tendering method is used around the nation, there are only temporary inspection teams that are formed by the owner ministry and other related ministries. In a budgeted year (2016-2017), there were hiring third parties, QA.QC companies and these firms consisted in the construction process. And then, the owner, consultant, and contractor worked together in the construction, but there were getting delayed because of a lack of coordination between them. The coordination between the owner, consultant, and contractor is very important to improve the workflow of the project. Clear responsibility of each organization is also important to streamline the workflow of the tasks. This report has been analyzed based on an actual project in Naypyitaw, Myanmar, and discussed coordination relations between the owner, contractor, and QA/QC team in the construction stage. And then, it also proposes a solution on how to get better coordination for any cases, especially government projects that use the traditional tendering system in Myanmar.
