| Abstract | Workplace safety is using a method or equipment to avoid from hazardous situation and accidents for workers and people in the workplace. Occupational safety is very important for every industry to save people from danger. There have many ways to defense people and labors from workplace accidents and incidents which are providing safety training, supporting personal protected equipment, inspection in the workplace regularly and instruct workers to keep away from accidents. Occupational accidents and incidents are happening all over the world. So, to save labors and their lives, all stakeholders should focus and take care to be workplace safety and healthy. There does not have safety laws, even they have safety law, the enforcement system is very weak for the law, especially in most of developing countries. There have a few professional experts for construction safety in Myanmar. So, our country needs to develop Occupational Safety and Healthy (OSH) Culture involving safety training to birth experts in OSH. Developing of safety culture has to be promoted not only the provisions of safety regulations and OSH laws and acts, but also to be arranged with the preparation of safety policy, safety plan and safety program, etc. Regulations and acts have to be published by national level and safety policy and safety program should be defined by each party who implements any construction project. |
