| Abstract | Nowadays, Myanmar is on the way to democracy economic system. It is the first priority to promote country’s economic development. Then, basic infrastructure like road and bridge, railways, waterway, electricity, telecommunication, water supply, financial institution, ect are needed a lot to be constructed as it can carry out the economic activities and which help in economic development of the country. Not only new infrastructure to be built but also old infrastructure have to be repaired and upgraded. For road and bridge infrastructure which is under the ministry of construction. The government has allocated sufficient budget for both new building and system upgrading to fulfill the increasing infrastructure requirement. For public infrastructure project, mostly it is implemented base on annual budget, and it has both budget and time constraint. Therefore, it is a big challenge to complete the project within budget limitation and defined period. A suitable construction method could be used during the execution of a construction project to reduce construction time and cost. This report proposes two difference construction methods like launching method and temporary support method used in the bridge project. Analysis has carried out to find out key aspect in term of project management and it can help to improve the selection of construction methods for a bridge. |
