| Abstract | This report is to study the practice of project planning, monitoring and controlling of pilot project and Wain Htan - Phaing Taung - Pan Sone - Kaung Home - Kone Hsar rural road located in Lashio Township, Northern Shan State is chosen as a case study. The project is funded by union government budget and implemented by Lashio District, DRRD. The project director take responsibility to closely monitor and supervise the construction team's performance in term of time and quality to ensure all requirements are met with the specified design throughout the project. Base on theory of project management have learn in the course, it is conducted an analysis to address the strength and weakness of the project management in term of schedule and quality.It learnt that a systematic planning is critical key to efficient and effective manage the project lead to be achieved. In parallel, resources requirement also plays a vital role of the overall project. After being done case study analysis, project planning, monitoring and controlling is proposed for enhancement of existing practice and to be sub stainable development. |
