| Abstract | According to a World Bank report, Vietnam's economic growth is predicted to moderate to 6.3% in 2023 from a strong 8% last year as services growth slows and high prices and interest rates weigh on investors and households, and this demonstrates the difficulties the economy is presently experiencing as a result of both the broad issues of the global economic environment and the influence of the government's previous initiatives, such as tightening financial conditions. However, this is also a crucial time for the government to decide that effective investment in infrastructure development projects and public policy projects will be the key to fostering economic progress, both in the near and far future. It demonstrates the vitality and development opportunities of business corporations that have sustainable and long-term development plans, especially in the construction and real estate development field. Today, profits are significantly declining in the modern building industry due to intense competition due to poor project management plans leading to poor quality, overspending, and delayed pace; some projects have not even been completed. This study focuses on Project Planning for renovation project- a new trend is buying and renovating old buildings to save costs and time as well as meet the needs and expectations of investors. This project has been started from March 2021 and finished in June 2022 which five months delay compared with the original schedule due to covid-19 expansion 3rd time and many problems during the construction. This research will outline an examination of project planning in a renovation project, analysis and give recommendation and improvements for project planning and management, and hopefully may help managers and executors in achieving project objectives. |
