| Abstract | Thank to the influx of foreign capital, there are many large scale building projects have been implemented in Vietnam which open opportunity and also pose the challenge for local work force. Large scale projects involve multiple stakeholders to interact and coordinate intensively for ensuring safe operation and completion of projects. In order to facilitate their contact and guarantee the achievement of project’s objectives, this calls for communication management among many stakeholders. Poor stakeholder communication can lead to dispute and project failure where critical issue unsolved in the worse case. Hence, managers and organizations should have a thorough understanding of stakeholder communication management to enhance project performance and achieve project’s goal. This final project report focuses on CONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT OF STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION IN VIETNAM SOFTWARE (VNS) PROJECT between the main contractor and subcontractors, the owner, designer… as external communication and within the main contractor organization as internal communication. Incorporating by reviewing many researches of many authors and analyzing a case study in VNS Data Center project in Ho Chi Minh City, communication issues which affects to the success of the project will be identified and analyzed. Basing on the reviewed knowledge and case study analyses, it is proposed some recommendations to mitigate communication issues in construction project. |
