| Abstract | In this study, actual concreting practice pertaining to measuring mixing, transporting, placing, and curing concrete was observed and compared to recommended concrete construction practice. The study was carried out on three relatively large projects where the concreting procedures were observed to be in accordance with the recommended practice. Evaluation was based on statistical interpretation of the concrete strengths and observation. Possible reduction in concrete cost, through better quality control was also investigated. |
