AbstractThis thesis is a hydrological analysis of the Brahmaputra river. Based on the data available at the Hydrology Section of the East Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority, studies have been made with respect to mean, maximum and minimum flow. In addition the flow duration and flow recession characteristics of the river were determined. Also, the contribution of flow from different tributaries have been estimated by considering rainfall in excess of evapotranspiration.
