| Abstract | The effect of center -line markings placed between the opposing streams of traffic on a two-lane curved roadway are studied in this research; lateral placements of vehicles under various traffic conditions for three different horizontal curves were studied. Details of the test sites, instrumentation, and data-collection techniques are described. Comparisons of the results are made with those of similar studies conducted elsewhere. The findings of this research are in reasonable agreement with those of other investigators. |
