AbstractThis report explores the growing concern of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) within academic environments. It evaluates the Genki Campus Initiative (GCI) pilot program which was conducted at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), assessing its operational efficiency, participant feedback, and potential for future scalability as a full scale business. The pilot program promotes the preventive healthcare through innovative tools like Portable Health Clinic (PHC) technology and personalized "GenkiMaps." By using a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data, participant profiles, health assessment outcomes, and staff feedback were analyzed. The key findings reflected a significant difference between the participants perceived and actual health statuses. This highlighted the importance of raising health awareness and implementing preventive measures. Key operational challenges, including limited resources, communication issues like clarity in health results, feedback mechanisms, outreach and awareness, etc., and logistical inefficiencies, were identified as areas that need significant improvement. Strengths such as the program's technological innovations and strong community engagement underscore its potential for expansion within AIT. The report concludes with strategic recommendations for improving operational efficiency and transitioning to a sustainable, full-scale business model.
