Abstract | This thesis examines labor practices and worker welfare in Youngone Corporation’s textile manufacturing operations in Vietnam, focusing on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks. By analyzing industry reports, benchmarking industry standards, and reviewing Youngone’s ESG disclosures, key labor challenges are identified, including wage disparities, excessive overtime, and limited worker engagement. The study employs a secondary data approach to explore AI-driven compliance tools, digital grievance platforms, and 3D printing technology as potential solutions. While these innovations offer promising advancements in ESG compliance, challenges such as job displacement, high implementation costs, and accessibility concerns must be addressed. The study concludes with strategic recommendations that balance technological integration with sustainable labor practices, enhancing corporate responsibility and long-term competitiveness. |
