AbstractRemote sensing data can be useful for management of water quality assessment due to cost and time efficient on a special scope of temperature and spatial scales. Remote sensing satellites at spatial and temporal resolutions gives various size of data that have become primary sources, is widely used for monitoring and estimating surface water and its change. The most widely used remote sensing data that applied in most previous studies for water body monitoring or water change assessment Landsat images are used. Chl-a is consider as an main resource of water quality, mainly in eutrophic stage. Eutrophication in calich lagoons is the problem examined in this study which led to analysis of various satellite data and different band integration by linear regression among atmospherically corrected FLAASH, DOS, and QUAC methods and measured in-situ sample chi-a. TOA method gave the best-fit outputs when compared with the in-situ data for whole dataset, and it also produced excellent outputs consider separately. RED and NIR band integration resulted in best-fit outputs. The gradual increase in chl-a was observed in this lagoon.
