AbstractThe construction industry plays a vital role in the socio-economic development of any nation especially in developing countries like Myanmar. Nevertheless, construction industry is very dynamic, complex and uncertain industry when compared with others. It encounters numerous obstacles such as low productivity, poor quality, cost overrun, schedule delays and lack of information sharing. Thus, using digital technologies in construction for improving the productivity of the construction industry is very essential to promote Myanmar construction sector. Tn using technologies, Myanmar construction industry may face risks associated with digitalization and can't fully implement these digital technologies due to their dynamic capabilities. To examine the digitalization index, risks of digitalization, dynamic capabilities of digitalization and project performance, this study collected data from 115 respondents who are working in Myanmar construction industry. The data was collected by developing questionnaire and online and in-person collected. In this study, structural equation modeling (SEM) will be used to evaluate the relationship between each variable. Also, this research will examine the differentiation among each variable. The present study reveals that the Myanmar construction has low digitalization level and faces low risks of digitalization. From the SEM results, there is a positive relationship between dynamic capabilities and project performance. However, the relationship between risks of digitalization and project performance is not significant. In moderating analysis by digitalization index, only risks of digitalization and project performance has significant result. In mediating analysis by digitalization index, only dynamic capabilities of digitalization and project performance has significant result. The recommendation for this study is that organizations can improve project performance by workshop and training to improve using digital technologies.
