Abstract | All around the world, housing has been acknowledged as a key development instrument for reshaping societies and alleviating poverty. Owning a place of one's own is an aspiration shared by all families. Every nation should prioritize the development of affordable housing for families with modest incomes. Improved housing and related community facilities are needed in both urban and rural areas of our developing nation, particularly for low- to middle-income populations. Low-cost Housing is a novel concept that addresses effective financial planning and strategies for lowering construction costs by using locally accessible materials and increasing technology and skills without sacrificing the building's strength, functionality, and longevity. There is a prevalent misconception that affordable housing is only suitable for low-wage workers and is constructed using low-quality, economical building materials. In actuality, wise resource management allows for affordable housing. The government of Myanmar has also developed initiatives for Myanmar society that offer suitable, cost-effective housing of high quality. The ability to provide public private partnership (PPP) in affordable lodging in Myanmar, which is a developing country with economic development issues, is constrained by the resources available and the efficacy of the initiatives put in place. This study's objective is to create a PPP for attracting investors for the implementation of low-cost housing supply in Myanmar. Data from 51 in-depth interviews involved in the housing public private partnership project were gathered using a qualitative technique. Grounded Theory analysis was conducted the numerical data (GT). These results may help in the development of efficient tools to improve the process, provide the right institutions and legal framework for a more equitable and clear atmosphere, and create it easier for the business community to take part in the delivery of affordable housing in Myanmar. In this sense this study intends to enhance low-income people's lifestyles in Myanmar and the provision of good environmental infrastructure and healthy, harmonious housing. |
