AbstractA system dynamic model for energy consumption, energy resources and the environment was developed to analyze its interrelationship using Thailand as case of study. The variables contributing to the system are studied in this model. The model, which is based on the System Dynamics Approach as formulated by J.W. Forrester, contain 5 levels that are: population, gross national product, energy consumption, pollution and energy resources. Pollution, which is emphasized on air pollution as generated by energy usage, was measured in term of pollution index as proposed by Lyndon R. Babcock, Jr. A series of sensitivity tests is employed to study the relative effects of the variables. The model is expected to be useful tool to government decision makers
