AbstractThis study mainly focuses its attention on the application of the Stanford Watershed Model to a small watershed in Indonesia. The Stanford Watershed Simulation Model, a mathematical model programmed for the digital computer, synthesises a continuous hydrograph (basin outflow VS time) of streamflow from climatological data (precipitation, and evaporation), and watershed parameters (soil surface moisture and retention properties, interflow storage and flow conditions, groundwater storage and flow conditions, and physical properties of the stream channel). The model is modified to suit the conditions of the catchment and data availability in this region. The model is suitable for small catchments such as Jatinegara Sempor Watershed, Central of Java, Indonesia. A brief results of the model response to the variation of main parameters are also presented in this report.
