AbstractThis study presents the design of a computerized inventory control system for the Royal Thai Navy (RTN). The existing system of the Naval Supply Department (NSD) is first studied and analyzed. Problems in the existing system are identified to be in the requisition processes and the manual inventory management and control. A proposed inventory control system is design of the proposed system is presented and compared with a commercial inventory control package. Finally a cost-benefit analysis of the proposed system is given.
