AbstractVietnam is a developing country with a rapidly growing economy together with an increasing energy and electricity demand. The Vietnamese government adopted the Renewable Energy Development Strategy by 2030 with an outlook to 2050. Feed-in tariffs (FITs) were designed and introduced as a support mechanism to encourage the rapid development of the wind energy sector. As a result, the Vietnamese renewable energy industry is really appealing to domestic as well as foreign investors as demand for electricity is high. However, there are a number of risks for investors who have limited experiences to build their wind farms to meet the FIT deadlines. The major issues in the wind power projects are construction monitoring, difficulties in handling COD procedures, poor communication, and delay in the construction Project Management Consultants shall be an effective solution to support the owners in achieving their goals with being lower their resources as much as possible. In this thesis, the PMC management system for wind power plants will be studied.
