Abstract | A more general database concept is used in developing an analysis interpretive treatise package ( AIT87) for the general-purpose problem-oriented analysis of structures and continua. This package is a symbolic manipulation program which is designed to carry processes in structural analysis by matrix and finite element method. It consists of a central unit and various satellite processors. The central unit includes the data management module and data bank. The processors are self-contained function. individual modules, each performing a specific The modularity structure and its modification conveniences can prevent from remaining unnecessarily obsolete. The processors of AIT87 can be classified into four groups: 1) general matrix operations 2) generation of finite element characteristic arrays 3) processes in finite element method 4) structural dynamics The microcomputer facilities such as interactive input and graphics display are available for micro version. Finally, a user's manual and several examples are given to illustrate its usage and versatility of AIT87. |
