Abstract | This study developed a System Dynamics model describing the general process of innovation implementation within an organization. Several simulation experiments have been performed on the model by changing the parameters in the model . Important factors for successful innovation implementation are therefore outlined and discussed. It argues that the blame on the small value of an innovation for the implementation failure is irrelevant and useless in term of avoiding such failures. Organization ability plays decisive role in the successful implementation of innovations, especially those which induce large changes in tradition and organization structure. In this reason, the development of organization ability (problem solving capability, and problem bearing capacity ) is highlighted as very important. Comprehensive approach is needed to improve the ability of an organization. Some feedback loops relating to ยท the development of organization ability are also presented . |
