AbstractThis study is an attempt to make a policy analysis of the forest problem of Thailand. The causes of forest depletion are discussed to come up with appropriate policy options. It is recommended that some forests be privatized. Policies that likewise need effective implementation include, in the order of decreasing urgency: forest protection, amelioration and conservation.
