Abstract | A boiler plant in a Gypsum Board Manufacturing Co. was selected for the purpose of the study. First, the background, the process and the major equipment's under study are described. Decision diagram for determining the maintenance policy for each equipment is developed with many concerned criteria . Mathematical models for scheduling optimal interval and control rule of preventive maintenance actions are developed . The system steady state availabilities are analyzed both before and after the preventive maintenance actions. |
