| Abstract | The Thai economy has been growing continuously due to the economic stimulus from the government sector by accelerating investment in infrastructure and contributing trades and tourism. One of the biggest industries supporting the Thai economy is the property development industry. The property development business has to concern the related risk especially the financial risk because of the highly competitive market, capital-intensive industry and so on. Additionally, the company should manage financial performance effectively for lessening the financial risk. Therefore, this research aims to study the financial practices influencing the financial risk of the property development company by measuring its financial performance. This research is conducted based on the qualitative research approach through the case study method. All of the companies using in this research are listed in the stock exchange of Thailand (SET) and under the property development sector (PROP). The researcher creates the financial practices modelling of the property development company in order to deeply understand the practices affecting financial performance and financial risk, consequently. Lastly, this research proposed the recommendation of the financial practices to minimize the financial risk of the property development company at a low level. |
