AbstractThe high-level management support factors affecting the project performance in construction projects in Myanmar is the main focus of this study. As the literature does not provide detail and practical support factors of high-level management for construction industry, the researcher had to conduct the Grounded Theory to identify the practical support factors of high-level management. For the Grounded Theory approach, the researcher conducted face-to-face interviews with 17 respondents to collect data for Grounded Theory analysis. By using the Grounded Theory Analysis, a model presenting the relations between the support factors from high-level management is developed. After that, 3 case studies are conducted to validate the model by studying the existing practices of the factors in those cases. After validation of the model, the final model presenting the high-level management support factors is presented as the finding of this research.
