Abstract | This study is not particularly a study of Stormwater Management Plan practice for managing stormwater. The main purpose of doing this study is to give its readers an understanding of what is stormwater and giving some ideas for counter measuring stromwater runoff. This project is not an exclusively detailed stormwater reference. The level of quantitative hydrology that it covers is basic and there are plenty of detailed hydrologic references available. Stormwater can also be considered a resource that provides benefits such as groundwater recharge and flood protection. Stormwater management is important to prevent physical damage to persons and property from flooding and to maintain the ecological integrity, quality and quantity of our water resources. This study includes hydrological storm runoff effects on urbanization and land development a few runoff calculation methods, some basic knowledge for detention basins and how they operate. |
