AbstractNowadays earthquakes are labeled as one of the major causes which brings heavy damage to human life and also built up structures and countrys economy. So it is important to design the buildings with seismic consideration for preventing the buildings from being open up to earthquakes. Gravity designs are the main base for most of the structures in Thailand. Therefore they have a considerable risk for subjecting to earthquakes and being damaged by seismic loads. The main focus of this research is to study the seismic performance of a two storey reinforced concrete structure which is located in the Northern part of Thailand. The analysis which needed to this research was mainly done using ETABS software.
