AbstractThis paper focuses on the procedure of developing a soil model for a given case study using CAPWAP software with the use of inputs from PDA. In addition a sensitivity check for the soil resistance parameters namely Case Damping Factor, Smith Damping values and Average Quake on The Match Quality number will be carried out in order to develop a better understanding for these unusual CAPWAP soil model parameters and their effects on the final results. The knowledge gap is fulfilled by the understanding of the CASE pile analysis method used to function PDA, and the Signal matching procedure which is the main tool of CAPWAP. The High Strain Dynamic testing of deep foundation procedure which is standardized by ASTM D4945 will also be a part of this knowledge gap.
