AbstractProduction planning problem with multiple products, multiple periods, multiple processing locations and multiple objectives is considered in this study. A GP model is developed in order to determine the best compromise production plan for a fertilizer company. The study also consider the problem of scheduling products on parallel processors to minimize changing cost. The case study is chosen from the Southern Fertilizer Company in Vietnam. The models were solved by using LINGO software on PC. Sensitivity analyses have been done with the variation of goal priority and system parameters. Recommendations were proposed for the production management to make production planning more efficient and realistic.
