AbstractMain aim of this study was to observe whether is there is a any kind of relationship between root growth (root parameter) with the soil moisture. For this experiment, 3 kinds of root parameters (root biomass, root length, root length density) were testsed and tested under 3 moisture levels (100%, 75% & 50%). For each treatment, 6 replication were performed. Altogether 18 plants were consider for this experiment. For root length analysis done by the method proposed by New Man (1966) called line intersect method. Root length density calculate by the equation, actual root length divided by soil core volume. Root biomass calculated by using electronic balance. The data collected experimentally was analyze by using SPPSS (One-Way ANOVA). I was observed that there is a relationship between root parameters & soil moisture (p<0.05) and it was concluded that, when root are absorbing different moisture levels it affects the growth of their roots.
