Abstract | Modern communication technologies are rapidly developing from analog communications to digital communications An increasing numbers of communication systems are implemented in software, rather than hardware. Software defined radio (SDR) is a developing technol ogy for multi-type, high speed communication system with low requirements on hardware devices and low development cost. SDR is currently still under development. In this project, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is embedded using GNU Radio soft ware in a laptop computer and see the result of simulation of pass-band transmission.Based on existing program for baseband OFDM transmissions,a modification is made to demon strate passband OFDM transmissions. For information display,time-domain signal, frequency spectra and constellation of signal after detection are provided. |
