Abstract | The indirect benefits of transportation are the positive impacts which are easily visible and hard to measure quantitatively. This research was carried out to identify the indirect benefits of road transportation, find quantitative techniques for each indirect benefit and recom- mend the best quantitative technique to be used for each indirect benefit. The selection of best quantitative technique was done reviewing some selected techniques and analyzing with pros and cons of them. This research will be useful for transportation planners and policy makers to focus their projects more on these indirect benefits and how to convert them for the development of the country. |
