Abstract | Public bus service is one of the main and popular service in Sri Lanka. This research mainly aimed at examining the satisfaction level of the users of the public bus service in Sri Lanka and what factors playa crucial role in a persons perception of satisfaction. This service was introduced by the Ceylon Transport Board (CTB). Data collected through a survey question- naire among the passengers and tested by using SPSS software with the multiple regression and factor analysis. These analysis methods examined the affective factors and affective attributes for the passenger satisfaction. Twenty critical attributes found by using multiple regression analysis and five critical factors founded by using factor analysis. Government can improve those critical attributes to fulfill their goals. Main recommended thing is espe- cially country like Sri Lanka, improving those critical factors and attribute better than buy new buses and its directly affects for the good public bus service. |
