AbstractPerception and awareness on construction productivity is an initial element in productivity improvement. This research reports an investigation of the construction personnel's awareness on productivity issues and evaluation imp01iant level of major onsite productivity factors. By questionnaire survey and data analysis, the results show that there are significant different perceptions on productivity issues between onsite engineers and foremen due to the different education background and responsibilities. The outcome show that the high impact productivity factors; financial shortage, inadequate site supervision, material unavailability, and improper planning and scheduling, are the current faced productivity problems in Thai construction industry.
