Abstract | There are two most useful methods to represent curves in the Geometric Modeling, the Bezier curve and the Ball curve. Two generalizations of the cubic Ball curve are the SaidBall curve and the Wang-Ball curve. A Bezier curve can be generalized to disk Bezier curves basis on the disk algorithm in the recent research. In this thesis, disk Ball curves can be obtained by an extension of the disk algorithm in Said-Ball curve and Wang-Ball curve. At first, the definition of the disk Said-Ball curve and the disk Wang-Ball curve be given. Second, the algorithm of the disk Said-Ball curve and the disk Wang-Ball curve be developed. Third, the properties of the disk Said-Ball curve and the disk Wang-Ball curve be discussed. At last, the relationships between the disk Bezier curve and the disk Said-Ball curve and disk Wang-Ball curve. |
