AbstractContract management is one of the keys to lead to a successful project. It goes through the length of the project, from planning, design, procurement, construction to commissioning. There were so many mistakes when implementing projects related to contract management as schedule delays, cost overrun, not good quality, unsafety, etc. Therefore, well implementation of contract management is very important and necessary. Currently, there are many types of procurement method on construction contract as Design – Bid – Build, Design - Build, Engineering – Procurement – Construction, etc, appropriate for each of the different types of works. With the state capital project, it is usually used Design – Bid – Build method, moreover, Design – Bid – Build is also a familiar type of contract in Vietnam. This study analyzes the project using Design – Bid – Build method. Based on existing theory, the author clarify the process of Design – Bid – Build method contract performance. Thus, analyze and clarify the process of implementation Design – Bid – Build method on An Giang Vocational College project in An Giang province, Vietnam. The analysis shows that the strengths and weaknesses of each particular stage in the process of implementation of the contract, which has clear recommendations for each item. To learn from experience and mistakes to do better for the next projects.
