Abstract | There are numerous robots in the world for different purposes. However, to make them more practical and convenient they are given the ability to communicate over long distances. For such instances, the robots can communicate over a wireless medium such as cellular networks or internet networks. This report thus presents a Bluetooth-based control system for a mobile robot. To ensure maximum mobility, a three-wheeled mobile robot was used. The controlling module was designed using Eclipse Java EE IDE and developed on Android platform, enabling the user to use any portable Android device to control the robot. |
