AbstractThis project was done as a sub project of a factory automation project. This particular project was done base on a packaging process. A machine was designed and programmed to mimic a certain human activity which is performed in the packaging section of the factory. the objective of this particular machine should be reduce the number of labor units used in the section, reduce the floor area used and to reduce he cycle time used for this process for assorting toy cars in to blisters. Solidworks was used as the platform to model the machine and to design the most suitable and a compact mechanism. SIEMENS Step7 was used to Program the PLC (SIEMENS S7-300) and SIEMENS WinCCC was used to create he Human Machine Interface.
