Abstract | Most of the things in the modern world are based on the technology. Proper efficient storage systems are becoming vitally important in production and distribution environments. When storing and retrieval of items are done by the human it is not that much efficient as humans always tends to make mistakes and once there is an error occurred in such a rapid system it is very difficult to sort it out but when machines are assigned to such repetitive tasks the system automatically becomes very effective with time. The main objective of this project is to develop an automatic storage and retrieval system with a GUI interface. Automatic storage system is consisting with the machine and a dedicated storage. It automatically stores an item in the given input slot and automatically retrieves the item back when an input is given. In this project I propose the simplest way to create a machine that can access a 3 dimensional location and perform an intended task. This machine can be used in industrial applications such as storing light weight components in a factory. |
