AbstractAs known that, product design and development is one of the most important factor driving companies success or failure. So it should be tried to get through the methodological fundamentals to arouse the human capability for designing something efficiently. Therefore this thesis is performed to study the process of product design and development that is one of the engineering process. Systematic method of product design and development is brought as a result for the first purpose. It had been realized from the qualitative analysis of many journals and literatures. The second is to get real information of "Thai industry" about this process: "What they have done through the design process", and "what about their opinions about this process". Hopefully, this thesis could provide the understanding of product design and development process systematically and clearly. Consequently, the industries which applied the strategic methods efficiently, they could be one of the leader for those industries.
