Abstract | The model representation with Resource Description Framework has been proposed for the conceptual representation of model management. It consists of two major concepts: Model specification and Schema specification. Model specification, based on RDF Model, graphically represents any decision model with directed-labeled graph; node means resource, and labeled arc means property. Schema specification, based on RDF Schema, is used to constrain domain and range of properties. Similar to object-oriented framework, the proposed model representation can employ the Inheritance mechanism in order to minimize redundancy and maximize consistency. To suppmt the proposed model representation, RDF/XML Model Management System is developed four fundamental functions: add, update, delete and query. RDF/XML MMS mainly utilizes the Document Object Model to internally construct tree structure. Thus, to access the XML data is to traverse along the tree. |
