AbstractIt takes a long time to design a Trash Raking Machine (TRM). In order to reduce the design time and avoid mistakes in designing, this thesis try to develop the automatic product design algorithm. The algorithm was developed to help the designer make a proper design. The designer only inputs the independent parameters then the computer will make the drawing automatically. In the case of the study "TRM" was developed using Visual LISP in AutoCAD 2000. Because the Visual LISP is built in AutoCAD 2000, there is no interface between the Visual LISP and AutoCAD 2000. So it is very easy to use. The algorithm (TRM) also generates the 30 drawing, and it will help the designer to understand the machine. The program also calculates the weight and the price of the machine automatically after showing the main part drawings.
