AbstractThis thesis was consisted of two main parts, fist part was study the process of product design and development of Thai industries. The study of product development process focused on the influence of industrial design and human factor process to Thai industries. The second part was the case study of redesigning the small tractor from Sahayont Company. This case study was applied the human factors process based on Thai population anthropometry data to redesigned the small tractor from Sahayont company. These anthropometric values measured from 211 Thai male in Nakhorn Ratchasima, the province in the north-ease of Thailand. This thesis used three main methods that were graphical analysis, prototyping analysis, and comparison analysis to evaluate the designed. Each method was proper for different purpose. About the prototype, this thesis used the 1 :4 scaled focus prototype to evaluate the designed of human-machine interface, placement of the workplace, and the whole designed.
