Abstract | This project is carried out to determine suitable forecasting methods out of pre-selected forecasting methods for the Supply Chain Department of Avery Dennison Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Furthermore the forecasting is focused on 4 different product lines and they inherit different demand scenarios. Therefore all the forecasting methods will be tested on each product line and the results will be analyzed to determine the most appropriate forecasting method. Historical data on demand of the products and their raw materials will be mainly considered as well as past sales data in each production line. |
