AbstractThis project primarily focuses on the factors that affect time, cost and quality of building house projects in Thailand. In this research study, identification and evaluation of risk factors and their importance is carried on. This was done by the interaction and perception of engineering professionals in the construction industry. Data regarding the risk factors were obtained by the questionnaire survey and interviews with the professionals in the construction field. Also, after evaluation of the results it can be concluded that all the objectives of the study were achieved: (1) To determine the present perception of the construction engineers towards risks in housing projects; (2) To analyze the most important risks in housing projects; (3) To determine the perception of construction engineers towards impact of risk on time, cost and quality requirements; (4) To propose recommendations and suggestions for managing these important risks effectively and efficiently. At the end, some discussions were made regarding the minimization of these risks.
