| Abstract | On most Android devices, Google Play services are pre-installed, prompting for third party applications to seamlessly utilize Google APIs. The Google Play services provides services for a numerous amount of Android applications including the one and only officially supported app store, the Google Play Store. The Google Play Store hosts over a million applications, making it the biggest application store for the Android platform. However, Google does not allow Google Play services and Google Play store to be installed on a set of devices that does not have the license from the Open Handset Alliance (OHA), therefore, the Google Play Store is inaccessible for a portion of users. In order to give everyone access to the Google Play Store, I will implement an open-source application that allow Android users to download and purchase application directly from the Google Play store. |
