Abstract | The flexibility management factors have relationship with project performance in construction projects in Myanmar are mainly focused on this research study. The flexibility management factors in construction projects are studied at first and then the relationship between these factors and project performance of the building construction projects in Myanmar is analyzed by quantitative analysis. Construction project performance is measured in terms of time, cost, quality and client’s satisfaction and then, the flexibility management factors are grouped into 5 groups: contract flexibility, process flexibility, human resources flexibility, schedule flexibility and budget flexibility. According to quantitative analysis, this study is conducted by collecting data from 70 respondents (project directors, project managers, site manager and construction manager) via face-to-face questionnaires survey in Myanmar. As well as to fulfill the objective of the research, correlation analysis is applied. As per finding of this research, it is illustrated that these flexibility management factors have negatively significant effect on construction project performance in Myanmar. |
